Your Dog's Day at Doggy Daycare Yarra Valley
Pet Resorts Australia Yarra Valley Doggy Daycare offers a thoughtfully balanced day of play, rest, and personalised care, set amongst the natural beauty of the Yarra Ranges. Located in Badger Creek near Healesville and Lilydale, our doggy day care combines expansive outdoor spaces with a calm, country setting, giving dogs the freedom to play, explore, and unwind.
Morning Play
The day begins with outdoor play across our spacious yards, where dogs can stretch their legs, socialise, and enjoy the fresh country air. With a large mix of grassy and cement yards to suit dogs with different needs, including those with allergies, and shaded spaces with sun sails for dog’s prone to overheating. Dogs are grouped by our attentive pet nannies to match their size and temperament for a safe and positive start to the day.
Individual Attention
Throughout the day, our caring pet nannies provide one-on-one interaction tailored to each dog. Whether it’s a reassuring pat, gentle encouragement, or quiet companionship, we take the time to understand every dog’s personality, helping them feel confident, settled, and part of the family.
Rest & Recharge
After morning outdoor play, dogs are given time to rest and reset in a calm indoor environment with raised trampoline beds. These quiet breaks are essential in maintaining a balanced daycare experience, allowing dogs to relax, regulate their energy, and remain comfortable throughout the day.
Afternoon Exploration
As the day continues, dogs return to the outdoor yards, including Barkley Park, but for a more relaxed afternoon session. With plenty of space to roam, sniff, and interact at their own pace, this time encourages gentle play, confidence building, and enrichment in our natural Yarra Valley surroundings.
Wind-Down
In the late afternoon, the pace softens as dogs enjoy calm interaction and downtime. After a day filled with outdoor play, fresh air, and attentive care, most pups are relaxed, content, and happily tired.
Home Time
At pick-up, you’ll be greeted by a settled and satisfied dog who’s enjoyed a full day of enrichment, socialisation, and personalised care. Our Yarra Valley doggy daycare makes it easy to give your dog a day that’s as enjoyable as it is reassuring.
What Our Customers Say
"The Yarra Valley Pet Resort team were amazing in their care of our furbabies. We used both their boarding and wedding chaperone service and couldn’t recommend them more. The team were super communicative in the lead-up to the big day and took the time to ask for all the right details, which gave us so much confidence. They were also incredibly warm and friendly and handled our overactive, anxious pups with such care and kindness. Our pups arrived at the wedding beautifully groomed and dressed in their wedding outfits, which absolutely made our day. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands and are so grateful to the team for taking such wonderful care of them."

"I could not recommend Yarra Valley Pet Resort enough! I met someone along the Warrandyte river who said there isn't anyone else they would trust their dog with. I can 100% confirm that and could not agree more. They have been a God send when Thaison has needed care. He has been going since he was a puppy. Andrea and her team are amazing and I can rest assured knowing he is in excellent hands and is well looked after and cared for. Thaison loves going to the resort and I get the feeling he does not want to leave sometimes. I have no doubt he has the best time there. The prices are excellent too. So grateful to the team for looking after my baby!"

"Our cat Milly was well looked after and was happy at YV Pet Resort. This was her third stay. She was glad to see us after 4 days at the resort of course. But she was well cared for and in excellent health. We have no hesitation in recommending YV Pet Resort."

"We've been using YVPR for over a year now, and have been very happy with them. Our girls are also happy to head in and happy exhausted end of day when we pick them up. The change of management has brought price increases and some changes in booking/check ins, but the quality of care has been exceptional. Most of the staff we deal with remained on and they always are excited to see our girls. They stayed over Xmas for five weeks and we were given updates, check ins when their weight changed, photos, and a party for Bee's birthday. We will continue to use YVPR for day care and boarding as we trust that our girls are cared and loved for away from us."

"Yarra valley has taken care of our dogs Akira and Manny like their own and diligently posted photos of playtime and their health parameters on the pet portal and also very patiently answered our daily calls to them! Their regular updates and the fact that they weigh pets every alternate day gives me great confidence that they're being well taken care of. Our pups also came back smelling great and feeling soft after a bath just the day before we had to pick them up. They always come back happy and looking healthy from yarra valley pet resort"

Doggy Daycare FAQ's
We do not allocate time to rest specifically at Doggy Daycare although, we do provide beds and dogs will often self-regulate and nap during the day in between playing. If a dog is overexerting themselves and we believe they need some time, we will make sure they have sufficient time out to replenish.
We do not typically feed daycare dogs are they are usually home in the morning for breakfast or home in time for dinner. However, if you have a puppy that requires a meal three times a day, you are welcome to bring their lunch. If there’s any other circumstances, please discuss with our admin.
