"I was very worried about leaving my dachshund "Scamp" for an extended stay while I went on holidays as he had never been left before. However, when I first met Sam in reception, her love of dogs was obvious and she went out of her way to reassure me that Scamp would be ok and there would be someone to give him cuddles and play if he didnt appear to want to mix with the other dogs. Well, he had an absolute ball playing with the other dogs and even ventured into the splash pool (Sam had video evidence). When I picked him up he was healthy happy and Sam had obviously gotten him in a bath, he smelled lovely and fresh. Will definitely be taking Scamp back for some doggy daycare so he gets to play some more."

"We recently booked our lab puppy, Minty, for a short stay and couldn’t have been more thrilled with the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the happy sight of pups playing in the water splash area—it honestly looked like a little Wet’n’Wild for dogs! The warm welcome from the staff immediately put us at ease. As it was Minty’s first kennel stay, we were a little unsure how she’d go, but the team reassured us she would have a wonderful time—and they were absolutely right. When we came to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave! We especially loved the thoughtful report card detailing her stay. The attention to detail throughout was outstanding; it truly feels like a pet resort in every sense of the word. Having used a range of pet stays in the past, I can confidently say we won’t be going anywhere else. I highly recommend Pet Resorts Gumdale. 1000/10"

"We absolutely love Pet Resorts Gumdale! Our dog Franklin has been attending daycare there since he was about 14 weeks old and he’s now five months old. He always has an absolutely fabulous time and comes home happy and exhausted from a big day of play. Doggy daycare has been amazing for his socialisation and confidence. He recently had his first boarding stay over Easter and we were so pleased with how well he was looked after he came home happy and healthy as always. You can genuinely tell the staff care about their jobs and about the animals they’re looking after, which gives us so much peace of mind. 10/10 would definitely recommend!"

Yes, our team gives each feline guest personalised attention every day. This includes cuddles, playtime, and plenty of interaction tailored to their temperament.
We have trained staff available to care for cats with special needs or medical conditions. Please contact the resort prior to booking to confirm that we can accommodate your cat’s specific needs and medication requirements.
All special care requirements must be confirmed with our office team prior to check-in. Additional care or medication administration fees may apply.

Yes, when available, we can offer adjoining or larger suites so bonded cats from the same family can stay together comfortably.
For the health and safety of all guests, we require that your cat is up-to-date with their F3 vaccination. Please bring your cat’s vaccination certificate when you check in.
